I pulled together research for textures, finishes, form and color based on trend research and inspiration from other accessories in adjacent categories.
Consumer testing
After the design and palette were selected, there was consumer testing with our consumer segmentation to get feedback before launching this product. Based off the feedback, many consumers requested a green colorway that spoke to the origin of the material. I adjusted the colorway options for launch as seen below.
