While in New York…

While I was a design intern at Nanette Lepore I learned many skills and developed a better understanding of the fashion industry with hands on experience. Some of the skills I learned while I was an intern was color matching and dyeing fabrics, hand beading, advanced my pattern making skills, learned about print development for textiles, and advanced my knowledge on knit design.

I helped with two events while I was an intern. I learned the what goes into preparing for NYFW and what happens during market week. I also lead organizing the brand’s biggest sample sale.
