Project Runway, Nina Garíca, and OtterBox Collaboration

When a passion collides with your job a great thing happens. OtterBox collaborated with Nina Garcia several years in a row. This partnership merged fashion and technology. Perfected Angle was the first of my original prints to be mass produced. This collaboration led us to sponsoring an episode of Project Runway: All Stars. We collaborated with that episode’s winner, Dom Streater with two exclusive prints.

Collaboration is key

It was such a great experience working with Dom Streater. She was the winner of the OtterBox episode of Project Runway All Stars. Our team got to work with the designer and select two of her original prints to create limited edition case designs sold exclusively at Verizon.

It all started with idea

Our team pitched print designs to Nina and her team based on current print trends. She selected one of the prints I had created, Perfected Angles for the second launch of the collaboration.

Lights, camera, action

Between the collaboration with Nina Garcia, the episode of PRAS, and working with Dom Streater this collaboration felt more like a passion project than my job. My two worlds of fashion and product design came together with this collaboration.
